The Minion DHF was designed for the often loose and muddy conditions of the NORBA downhill series. DHF incorporates ramped knobs for low rolling resistance and channel-cut knobs to increase gripping edges, giving straight-line control and precise cornering. Depending on course conditions, DHF works well front and rear or as a front paired with DHR.

I purchased the 2.5" 60a version of this tire. I do mostly cross-country riding but I jump at any chance to tear down a rocky downhill as fast as possible! These tires offer AMAZING grip. Previously I owned the Maxxis High Rollers 2.35" also in 60a. These were great tires but the Minion is even better. Its a pound heavier than the HR, but I think it's worth it. The confidence and stability of this tire is well worth the extra weight and cost. It RIPS. -- GRIPP!
