Sunlite Rear Folding Bicycle Basket - Set of 2 - Black

I took the advise of previous posters and:
1. ignored the instructions and used screw driven hose clamps.
2. used bungees when in use to secure items and reinforce the bottom

A key advantage the use of hose clamps is permitting placing the baskets lower. This put the center of gravity at a much more comfortable level. I also carry a computer, and used bungees to hold it snug to the inside of the basket -- again, center of gravity matters for the ride. Presently, I am doing my 5 mile commute with a good deal of weight off my back. I carry my computer, change of clothes, dress shoes datebook and things have been real smooth.

i have put this on an electric bike and its great i am able to grocery shopping using these baskets thanks to the seller who shipped this quickly and was very easy sell and receive thanks again -- works great

I purchased 2 Rear Folding Bicycle Baskets and Installed them on my XR200 Mongoose Mountain Bike. They have plenty of storage, when you need it but easily fold up while not in use. I really like them. I'm glad that I purchased this item at Amazon.

Quick and easy sale. Very easy to mount on bike. Just be sure to have a frame mount back rack. The seat post mount don't work as easy or as strong. -- Folding Bicycle Baskets

+ they hold a lot of weight without complaint.

- the clasp frequently fails to keep the baskets locked down. i had to bend them a little to keep them secure. of course, now i have to wrestle with it to open them up. a swing or keyturn clasp or snap would have been a better design. -- good value compared to others--needs improved clasp
