I've had Vredestein tires on my car for a long time and every set never let me down... You get what you pay for with Vredesten. Winter tires are the best money can buy and summer tires are more than you can imagine! So when I needed tires for my road bike, I had to give the Fortezza Tricomp a try!
The Fortezza Tricomp is a great tire. It might be a few grams heavier than other tires in its category, but it does deliver in handling and overall performance. It has a very low rolling resistance and corners like a champ! It gives the rider confidence to take that high-speed corner without reaching for the brakes.

These are fantastic racing tires. They can hold up to 145 psi, and have a higher kevlar count than most other tires in this price range (less flats. They have a very hard and fast feel on the road, but not like a hard cased tire. Also, the Vredestein tubes are great, and you can get them with up to an 80mm stem, perfect for dish rims (i have 404's) because you can get rid of those faulty valve adapters. -- Racing tires
